Crafted from premium 6061-T6 aluminum billet using cutting-edge Multi-Axis CNC machines, GFB’s pulleys weigh significantly less than factory steel counterparts, shedding up to 2kg on average and over 7kg for the GFB 300ZX pulley. This reduced weight leads to a substantial decrease in the rotating inertia of the belt train, resulting in faster engine acceleration, especially in the lower RPM range before the turbo spools up, akin to the impact of a lightened flywheel.

Beyond mere weight reduction, GFB’s under-driving design further amplifies power gains. By reducing the size of the crank pulley, the kit slows down accessories and alleviates the driven load at higher RPM, without compromising efficiency between idle and 1400RPM. The under-drive ratio comes into play as revs increase, progressively diminishing wasted power and providing significant power gains without upping the boost.
