Gizzmo’s Launch Interface seamlessly integrates with the Gizzmo – Tach Recall ShiftlightShiftlight to facilitate a fully customizable launch control function. This innovative feature triggers sequential misfire events at the user-defined RPM, optimizing performance. In turbo applications, maintaining an open throttle during misfire induction enhances exhaust gas velocity and density, expediting turbo spool-up for increased boost under load. This unique approach ensures that boost is generated before launch, providing a significant power boost for a more impactful vehicle launch.

The clutch-activated ignition cut enables flat changing, allowing smooth gear transitions without lifting off the throttle. When the clutch engages, the RPM reverts to the pre-set launch RPM to prevent over-revving, ensuring the vehicle stays on boost while shifting gears. Launch control is not only advantageous for turbocharged vehicles but also proves beneficial for naturally aspirated cars by delivering consistent launch RPM for optimal results and facilitating quicker gear changes through flat changing.
