Conversely, an excessively large capacity may impede the desired inertia boost effect, crucial for efficiently channeling air into each cylinder. The form of the surge tank plays a pivotal role in maintaining air movement energy near the entrance. Unlike many stock surge tanks with a thick form, our surge tank adopts a tapering design towards the back end. This design facilitates smooth air passage without compromising flow vigor, minimizing disruptions like whirlpools. When installing on Evo XIII/IX, it is recommended to exchange the fuel delivery pipe for Evo VII.
